Clinic Owner & Operator

"Knowing oneself comes from attending with compassionate curiosity to what is happening within."
~Gabor Maté

Hi, I’m Meredith — therapist, mother, stepparent, dog enthusiast, and unapologetic cat mother to four (yes, four — “crazy cat lady” is absolutely a compliment in my books). I came into this profession a little later in life, which means I bring with me not only clinical training, but a varied list of real-life experiences: from retail and corporate banking to childcare and postpartum support. These, and all the other chapters of my life shape the way I show up in the therapy room today.
At the heart of my work is authenticity — unabashed, unapologetic, real-life authenticity. I show up as the most genuine version of myself so you can feel safe doing the same. My approach is client-centred and collaborative, with a strong focus on creating a comfortable, down-to-earth space where you don’t have to filter yourself. Psychotherapy with me is a partnership, not a performance.
I work with adults (18+) at all stages of life — individuals and couples — as they navigate whatever life throws their way. Some of the areas I’m most passionate about include:
  • Separation/Divorce (with specific training in high-conflict situations)
  • Co-Parenting, Parenting & Step-Parenting
  • Infertility & Pregnancy
  • Perinatal & Perimenopausal/Menopausal Mental Health
  • Men’s Mental health
  • Relationship Challenges (both familial and romantic-including non-monogamous dynamics)
  • Career Changes - the classic “What do I want to do with my life now that I’m a grown-up?” moment many people seem to find themselves in these days.
Outside the therapy room, you might catch me raving about cold plunging as self-care (don’t knock it until you try it).
If you’re considering working with me, my new client consultations are 30 minutes — I like to think of them as a “vibe check” because it really matters that you feel comfortable with the person you’re sharing your life with. A solid connection is one of the strongest predictors of good therapeutic outcomes, and you deserve a therapist you genuinely like.
You can book a consultation through my Jane platform, or reach out by email or phone if you’d like to chat first. I would be honoured to get to know you better.
I want to thank you for being here and considering me in your search to find the right support person for your unique journey. I look forward to meeting you.

Burlington as we know it today is rich in history and modern traditions of many First Nations and the Métis. From the Anishinaabeg to the Haudenosaunee, and the Métis – our lands spanning from Lake Ontario to the Niagara Escarpment are steeped in Indigenous history.

The territory is mutually covered by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy, the Ojibway and other allied Nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes.

I would like to acknowledge that the land on which I work and live is part of the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.
